 The LaCrosse Technology TX25U-IT Wireless Temperature Sensor with has a Waterproof Probe that is dual channel and offers 915 MHz Instant Transmission technology. It monitors the air temperature as well as having a 6 foot (not 10 foot as package indicates) waterproof probe to measure soil or water temperature.

The waterproof probes detachable 6 foot cable and is perfect for monitoring any water source such as a pond, a lake, a hot tub, but is really handy for gardeners  and farmers wishing to monitor the temperature of their soil oreven compost piles.

The remote temperature sensor, it uses two channels; the weather station's channel 1 will display the remote temperature sensor data, and channel 2 will display the temperature probe data.

The TX25U-IT features an LCD temperature display and can be wall mounted or used free standing. It is backed by a one year manufacturer warranty.
