Temperature monitoring is essential in the making of quality compost. By monitoring your compost you can see how well the bacteria is working to digest the organic matter, what stage of the compost process the pile is at and also when the pile needs turning.

The Fast Response Compost Thermometer has all of the assets the Reotemp Heavy-Duty Thermometer has, but now it is stronger and quicker. The extra sensitive tip gives an accurate temperature reading twice as fast as the Heavy-Duty Probe and the stem is now reinforced with 3/8" stainless steel.
