One of the biggest problems farmers and gardeners face is when you find that your crops or plants have gotten a fungus infection or disease. There are many common diseases such as Fire Blight, Botrytis, Sour Rot, Rust, Sclerotinia, Powdery Mildew, Bacterial Spot and White Mold that might attack your crops at any time. Our natrual and organic range of Fungicides fall into the following categories:
- Botanical fungicides that are made from plants which are shown to have pesticide qualities such as pyrethrin or neem.
- Mineral fungicides such as sulfur and copper based materials. Remember that copper despite being the strongest and most effective fungicide we offer, is alkaline and has a tendency to accumulate in the soil, so try to minimize its use. Sulfur, on the other hand, is acidic and ends up being assimilated by the plant and soil as a major plant nutrient.
- Oil such as Neem Oil which is best used as a preventative or in low disease pressure situations for fungus problems. Use to control diseases such as powdery mildew, anthracnose, botrytis, rust, leaf spot, and flower blight.
- Biological fungicides are beneficial microbes that protect plants from soil-borne pathogens, like pythium, botrytis, and more. These are far safer than other fungicides as they actually add to the beneficial bacteria in the soil.
