Low temperatures can sometimes make germinating seeds difficult and slow. However rather than have your room heated up to 85-90F You could can just raise the soil temperature in your seed beds and promote a good strong healthy environment to grow your seedlings by simply letting this waterproof seedling heat mat do the work for you!

This waterproof mat fits neatly beneath 1 standard-size seed flat or Dome, raising the temperature of the soil to about 85 to 90 degrees F. This mat wont work in a freezing cold room but will work at room temperature or even a basement that is cool but not freezing.

There is no need to use a thermostat with this mat but if you want to there is a built in thermostat for them hard to start seedlings and also the instructions give tips on how to best use the thermostat to help you grow better.
