Low Toxicity Termiticide, Fungicide & Insecticide Borate-based, low
toxicity product provides immediate & long-term control (to 40
years, if properly applied) of termites, carpenter ants, powder post
beetles, old house borers, brown rot, white rot & wood decay fungi.
Painted or sprayed on bare wood, above-ground surfaces (in basements,
attics, siding, decks, wood floors & studs) or injected directly
into areas of infestation, Bora-Care achieves control by treating the
pests' food source (wood), rather than fumigating or poisoning the
soil. It protects only wood that has been treated. It contains 40%
Disodium Octaborate Tetrahydrate & 60% inerts. A gallon of
concentrate will cover 600 linear feet of 2x4 lumber, 1600 sq ft of
1/4" paneling, 800 sq ft of 1/2" siding. Dilute with warm water at 1:1
or 2:1.
