Agribon AG-50 Frost Blanket - Pack of 2 (14ft X 14ft)
Use these covers to protect individual plants, trees or shrubs from frost or pests. Simply Agribon™ rowcovers have all the qualities of other brands, while being more affordable and with seams double-bonded for ultra-strength. These frost blankets increase yields, prolong seasons, reduce soil erosion, protect against frost, speed up germination, minimize wind damage, conserve soil moisture, deter insects and birds and protect against extreme temperatures. A heavier rowcover (1.5 oz/sq yd) widely used for frost protection on citrus, strawberries, vegetables and nursery stock. It has 50% light transmittance and provides up to 8°F of frost protection, warms the soil and is a good pest barrier. It also conserves water by reducing evaporation. It is similar to other rowcovers but generally longer lasting. UV stabilizers increase expected field life to 2 to 3 seasons. Agribon offers a 1-year limited warranty against premature UV breakdown. re the bottom edges using Tufbell or Clip-It attachment clips (sold separately). Once clips are attached to the fabric, pin them down with Ground Staples(sold separately) or other attachment method. Fabric should be loosely laid and not stretched tight. Additional support for the fabric may be desired (i.e., a PVC pipe frame built around the plant).
