The Horiba D-53 meter allows you to connect a range of Ion Selective Electrodes to test a range of specific ions in your water or liquid sample. This is perfect for testing water quality or testing the ions in your soil samples. You can do this whilst concurrently testing the pH and ORP (oxidation reduction potential) of your sample using a secondary electrode input.

The Horiba D-50 series of field and lab meters all come with the ability to connect the meter to your PC for easy data collection and storage. You can also use the meter to connect to a printer output so you can print off your data and findings directly either in the lab or the field (except for the D-51).

The Horiba D-50 series meters are among the highest quality IP-67 rated waterproof meters and electrodes available. Used primarily for water analysis, it can easily be used to test a huge range of liquid samples such as soil samples, plant sap samples, liquid fertilizers, compost tea and even your fruit and vegetable juices.

None of the D-50 series meters come with electrodes allowing you to choose exactly which electrodes you prefer and easily replace old or broken electrodes without replacing the top-of-the-line meter.
