This electrode is designed to compensate for the temperatures of samples and help to provide the most accurate tests possible. Simply dip the electrode into the sample and the electrode quickly determines the temperature and helps to compensate for temperatures in samples.

Temperature compensating is one of the three legs of accurate pH testing, the other legs being a pH measurement electrode and a pH reference electrode.
