This portable turbidity meter is designed for field and lab use to determine the turbidity of municipal water, food and beverage water, and other aqueous solutions. It is highly accurate and reliable for determining the clarity of fluid samples far past the point that human eyes can test.

The traditional means of testing turbidity involved lowering a painted disc into a water source and determining the depth at which the disc becomes invisible. This method is highly subjective and impossible with small sample sizes. This meter requires a very small sample (10mL) to provide a highly accurate turbidity measurement.

The TB400 features a wide testing range up to 1000 NTU (Nephelometric Turbidity Unit) with an impressive 0.01 NTU resolution. This makes the TB400 ideal for testing the minute differences in aqueous samples allowing the best course of action to be taken.
