The Horiba D-74 meter allows the user to test the pH, ORP (oxidation reduction potential) and conductivity of samples of many different types. The wide range of electrodes allows the user to customize the measurement method to best fit their testing situation. This meter was designed to be used in the field or the lab as it is waterproof yet highly accurate. This versatility makes testing care-free and easy in all situations.


The Horiba D-74 meter can also test the conductivity, resistivity, salt and total dissolved solids of samples, which is a great indication of overall water quality. Horiba Instruments Inc. is famous for the quality of its measurement devices and electrodes. The Horiba D-74 is interchangeable with any of the pH electrodes found in the Horiba pH electrode category. The full listing of pH electrodes can be found here.


The Horiba D-74 is also capable of measuring the oxidation reduction potential of aqueous solutions, and the optional ORP probe can be found here.


The Horiba D-70 series of field and lab meters all come with the ability to connect the meter to your PC for easy data collection and storage. You can also use the meter to connect to a printer output so you can print off your data and findings directly either in the lab or the field (except for the D-71).


The Horiba D-70 series meters are among the highest quality IP-67 rated waterproof meters and electrodes available. Used primarily for water analysis, it can easily be used to test a huge range of liquid samples such as soil samples, plant sap samples, liquid fertilizers, compost tea and even your fruit and vegetable juices.

All meters are of the highest quality. None of the D-70 series meters come with electrodes allowing you to choose exactly which electrodes you prefer and easily replace old or broken electrodes without replacing the top-of-the-line meter.
