The Horiba Oil Content Analyzer is a compact and easy to use device that is ideal for measuring the oil content of water, soil and machined parts for a variety of applications. Some common applications include waste water effluent, bilge water discharge, oil/water separators, contaminated soil and oil on textiles and metal parts.
To accomplish the wide range of measurements this device uses an excellent extraction solvent called S-316. This stable solvent reliably extracts oil from multiple sample types and helps to provide accurate results every time. The Oil Content Analyzer is designed for use in the lab and the field, which is useful for monitoring oil spills, industrial discharges and checking for oil in streams and lakes.
This device features a data evaluation function which analyzes the readings, determines when the value has stabilized and displays the stable value. This removes any guesswork from collecting data and provides the user only with the best results.
Ease of use
To measure simply dissolve your sample with the Horiba S-316 solvent, inject the extract from your sample into the measuring cell and press a single button. A PC can even be used to simplify operation to a greater extent. Results can be saved on a computer or simply recorded.
Messages on the LCD screen inform the user of any electrical malfunctions, irregularities in measurement and deterioration of parts. This ensures that the machine is always functioning properly and won’t waste time or with bad measurements and wasted samples.
The Horiba Oil Content Analyzer keeps a record of the time and date of measurement along with each data set it records. This makes review and comparison of data simpler than ever before. When printing out data the machine provides the user with both time and measurement which, again, simplifies recordkeeping.
