Water Filters and Membranes
In this world of growing water needs the ability to purify water is becoming more and more important. While many systems and techniques have been conceived to accomplish this task they all require periodic filter changing. Multiple purification techniques have been proven to work well including activated carbon filters, sediment filters and reverse osmosis membranes.
Carbon filters help to scrub water of chlorine and chloramines as well as other harmful contaminants. Sediment filters are the more traditional form of water purification that helps to remove most of the small particles present in most water. Reverse osmosis membranes are the newest improvement in water purification.
These membranes are semi-permeable composites that only allow extremely small molecules to pass through. Water molecules easily pass through this membrane while almost all impurities are left behind. The combination of these three purification techniques produces extremely high quality water that can be used for irrigation, home use and even for drinking and cooking.
