Water Purification

Clean water is extremely important for plant health and produce quality. Town water supplies often add chlorine or other chemicals to their water to prevent bacteria or algae growth. This chlorine can be damaging or deadly to plants and should be removed or avoided when growing. Many water purification techniques exist to provide cleaner, safer water for both humans and plants.

One popular method of water purification is using activated carbon filters to remove impurities and particles. Reverse osmosis membranes are a great way to filter and clean water. These membranes have extremely small holes that only allow water to pass through, filtering out larger impurities and particles. Some purification systems use a combination of these two filtration techniques to achieve highly pure water.
