Horiba Conductivity Cell Submersible Type – 3551-10D
Features:
- For low conductivity water such as deionized or other
- Cell is completely submerged in the sample for a direct reading
- Temperature compensation element is incorporated into the cell
- Pen-type cell is easy to use with one hand
This conductivity cell is designed to measure low conductivity water such as deionized water and regular drinking water. It is a submersible type which sits directly in the sample for a direct reading. It requires 50 mL of sample and can help determine the quality of drinking water.
The conductivity of a sample is often a good indication of the total dissolved solids present in a sample, and therefore more pure water will give a lower conductivity reading. For example, the conductivity of sea water is much higher than that of deionized water because it has many dissolved solids present.
