With a durable forged steel blade with a shallow bowl, this shovel is capable of near vertical digging. The handle has very little lift, which makes it perfect for digging out trees and trenches, or any hole with vertical edges. It features an extended socket and a rounded point, as well as a solid shank which won't trap soil. The extended tab socket with double rivet connection between handle and blade makes it suitable for tough jobs.The 48" length handle wood grain is vertically lined up for maximum strength. Great for tight digging spaces.
