Automatic Vent Opener Replacement Cylinder

Fits both Agtec automatic vent openers and Univent automatic vent openers.

While the cylinder for the Univent Automatic Vent Opener can power the vent openers for a long long time, like a battery it eventually wears out and loses its ability to expand and contract and it is time for a replacement cylinder.

The ingenious temperature-sensitive vent opener automatically opens and closes cold frame lids, greenhouse windows and even skylights throughout the day and maintain a constant interior climate, something impossible to achieve by manual adjustments. Requires no batteries or electricity, it starts opening between 55—75°F, depending on how you have adjusted the vent. Strongly recommended for all our glazed season extenders because it dramatically improves plant growth. Screw directly into polycarbonate panels, wood, or metal frames.
