This AgTec Black and Silver Plastic Mulch is double sided giving you two color options in one film.

The standard black side provides excellent weed control among your row crops and increases yields by warming the root zone up to 3 to 5 degrees Fahrenheit. Plastic mulch prevents soil moisture evaporation and nutrient leaching. The film is easy to install and easy to remove from the field after harvest.

The reflective silver side suppresses weed growth and prevents moisture evaporation while increasing yields up to 20%. The black underside helps to cool the soil and the light reflected from the film's silver surface reaches the underside of the plant canopy and leads to rapid growth through increased photosynthesis. This increase in reflected light can also confuse and repel pesky insects making it a great choice for organic farmers. Studies have shown that silver mulch improved growth rates, harvest yeilds and fruit color over any other color mulch.

The durable 1 mil plastic mulch is strong enough for double cropping in the same season, or possibly for use over two seasons, and is easy to remove from the field after harvest.
