The PVC Fence Rail Notcher is a specialized tool designed to create notches in PVC fence rails, allowing them to seamlessly notch into PVC fence posts. While our fence rails come pre-notched, customizing rail lengths for your installation may require re-notching to ensure a secure fit. This notcher effortlessly adds notches to your rails as needed.

Constructed from high-quality materials, the notching tool boasts a heavy-duty cold-drawn steel head, a chrome vanadium steel frame, and durable rubber grips for a long-lasting and dependable performance.

Featuring three stages of leverage, akin to bolt cutters, this notcher easily indents even the toughest vinyl with minimal effort. Simply align the cold-drawn steel jaws and clamp down to create a precise notch in your rail without causing damage.

An adjustment bolt on the side of the tool allows you to modify the opening. We recommend testing the notcher on the cut section of the rail to fine-tune the depth and distance of the notch. The 18-inch long Fence Rail Notcher creates a perfect 3/4-inch wide notch and can be adjusted to start up to 1.2 inches from the rail's end or at a shorter distance if needed.
